Confirmed juror

JUROR · CONFIRMEDKris Szumowski
Creative leader · AppleKris brings experience shaping creative work seen by global audiences and an exacting perspective on story, craft, culture, and technology. For ON3FILM, that means looking past surface novelty to the choices that give a film intention, coherence, and emotional weight.
“New tools expand what can be made. Direction determines whether it means anything.”
View profile ↗ Jury philosophy
ON3FILM is not judging which creator used the most tools or produced the loudest frame. The jury looks for a film with something to communicate and the direction, edit, sound, craft, and transparent process needed to communicate it.
Additional jurors will appear only after confirmation and approval of their biography and image.

Sponsors and ecosystem partners do not control eligibility decisions, core jury scoring, the Grand Prize, or any other core jury award. Audience Choice is evaluated separately through public participation.
